NNPC secures $1 million U.S. grant for gas-fired power plant in Abuja
THE US government has granted Nigeria over $1 million for technical and financial work on a power plant project in the capital Abuja, the US Trade and Development Agency (USTDA) said on Tuesday. AN outbreak of 5N6 strain of ‘Highly pathogenic’ avian influenza popularly known as bird-flu has broken out in Chinese provinces near Hubei, Wuhan, according to the China Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs.
